The auscultation department of BAC has just completed the auscultation monitoring of the sculpture “Dona i Ocell” by Joan Miró, located in Joan Miró Park in Barcelona.
The works have been commissioned by the joint venture responsible for carrying out the planned actions that contemplate the construction of a cleaning center consisting of a building with two floors below ground level. During the execution of the building perimeter screens have been executed as well as the subsequent excavation and demolishing an already existing structure.
The monitoring has been necessary during the structural execution of the building work since it is the closest to the auscultated sculpture.

The works began in May 2016 and were completed in September 2017. During the execution of the works, the Barcelona City Council has carried out maintenance and restoration of the sculpture.
