The Spanish Water Management Office, awards BAC in a joint venture with ERH Consult, the “construction design of the preliminary project and environmental impact study, monitoring and management of the corresponding environmental evaluation of expansion works of the Murcia-Este WWTP”.
The Murcia-Este WWTP is located on the left bank of the Segura River, downstream from the town center, about 500m from the confluence with the Guadalentín River, in the place known as Rincón de San Antón in the Llano de Brujas district. . This facility receives wastewater from the centers of Murcia, Zarandona and Beniaján.
The purpose of the preliminary project is to establish the basic criteria for the expansion of the current facility in order to satisfy the needs raised on the one hand to the population growth since its construction and on the other to the population growth in future years .
