The opening ceremony of the Conventions Centre took place last January 18th in Bogotá. The was lead by the president of Colombia, and was full of personalities and celebrities.
The iconic Building was designed by the Colombian-Spanish consortium Bermúdez Arquitectos/Estudio Herreros, and BAC Engineering Consultancy Group was responsible for the Structural Design and Site Supervision. The structure is one of the most singular elements of the project.
