We are pleased to announce that within a process of generational change, Guillem Baraut has been elected as the new CEO of BAC, replacing Joan Franco, who has directed and chaired the company since 2013.
The new management aims to position BAC as a benchmark and leader in sustainability and circularity, as well as in digital transformation in the fields of engineering and consulting, maintaining the lines of work that have led the company to be the first engineering Catalan and a benchmark at the national level.
From these lines, we want to give our most sincere thanks to Joan Franco for having led BAC Engineering Consultancy Group, together with its management team, to be the first Catalan engineering and a benchmark in the sector. And our best wishes and success to Guillem Baraut Bover in this new stage at the helm of the company.
Guillem Baraut, who until now has served as General Director of Cities and Building at BAC, is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), MA Emergent Technologies and Design from the Architectural Assocation School of Architecture (AA ) from London and Global Executive MBA from IESE.
