Lara Pellegrini new General Director of Cities and Building

Lara Pellegrini has joined BAC as the new general director of Cities and Construction, replacing Guillem Baraut, appointed CEO of the company in November.

Lara has extensive experience in structural design projects and numerical simulation of bridges and iconic buildings, as well as in business development in Europe, both in the public and private sectors.

She began her professional career in engineering as BOMA, being responsible for the numerical simulation and structural design of several iconic buildings in Barcelona, such as the Agbar Tower. Later, he joined Pedelta, where the design of several innovative hybrid pedestrian walkways in stainless steel + fiberglass stands out. He was responsible for R&D leading projects for the design of sustainable modular fiberglass walkways subsidized by the European Community.
Lara Pellegrini has a degree in engineering from the University of Padua in Italy, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Numerical Methods in Engineering, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), as well as an MBA in Business Management and Administration from The Power Business School.
