On March 15, 2018, the Masterplan of Punta Colorada was presented in La Havana, in the presence of the Comandante Camacho and various representatives of Cuban governmental entities.
Punta Colorada Masterplan contemplates the tourist development of Punta Colorada, in the west of the country, which includes the construction of 3 hotels, 1,650 homes (between villas and apartments), commercial areas, a marina for 300 moorings and a convention center.
The designing team, which won an international ideas contest organized by the Spanish joint venture company Punta Colorada, SA, is made up of a multidisciplinary consulting group, including BAC, which has coordinated all the engineering (paving, energy, water, telecommunications, mobility, marine).
